"The calls are coming in again"

Films: When a Stranger Calls (2006)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Remember in 1979 when a babysitter endured utter Hell from a stalker who sought to kill her and the children she was watching while calling her from within the house? Well, it's happening again. And this time, we know pretty much nothing about this guy.

History: Nothing is known about this mysterious stranger. Aside from the fact that he gets his jollies murdering women, of course. And worse, he likes the taste of fear from babysitters above all else. He's already demonstrated his wrath upon a few unlucky people, and he's going to do it again in an unsuspecting lake house...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After a long night of tormenting a babysitter, the woman manages to stab his hand with a poker before staying alive long enough for the cops to arrive and apprehend him. While the scars are still there, at least he can never harm again.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Curt was just as bad, but he had to rely on some questionably amplified old tech. This stranger does not need to circumvent contemporary phones. He just needs to keep tormenting his victims via cell phone before going in for the kill. Not helping is the constant darkness he shrouds himself in.

Trivia: -The sitter's actress, Camilla Belle, had a field day doing this film. She almost turned it down due to her dislike of horror films, and got injured twice on set in rather painful ways. Let's hope the paycheck was worth it.

-The stranger was played by Tommy Flanagan, but his voice over the phone was provided by Lance Hendrickson.

Well, he did need a new phone.

Terrible remake or not, you might want to steer clear of the dark.
VERY close to home.
"Glass doors! My only weakness!"
